André Cantarel created this stunning faithful representation of the White House as a result of his work in the VFX industry. According to André  "the White House has been part of several movies I worked on so far but there was never a model available that included the level of detail needed for the shots. That’s how I got started making my own with the goal that every ornament, window detail and rain gutter is at its right place as well as making sure it matches the White House of today."

That kind of attention to detail takes a while, particularly on the painstaking research required to ensure accuracy. Andre estimates research took about 50% of the projects total time. Moreover, all the trees, bushes and flowers were built from scratch and without even using a procedural plant generator.
