The architect provided a very basic model of the buildings from Revit, which needed significant detail adding. To keep things as random and editable as possible, I used RailClone to arrange brick and stone detailing around building corners, windows and throughout the landscape - this gave the client flexibility to change sizes, material and arrangement until the design was finalised. It was also used to iterate some options of custom cladding on several units, before the client decided on the version used in the final images - as well as for all rainwater goods and ridge tiles.

 

ForestPack was essential in creating a natural looking and varied landscape - particularly the meadow and pond areas to the rear of the site, which needed to integrate seamlessly into photos as well as appearing much closer in full CGI images. It was also used for scattering large rocks and flora around the more urban areas, as well as for the grass topped native Cornish walling throughout the project.
